No doctor could give me clear answers. I still remember a rheumatologist telling me that my pain was “in my head.” From that moment on, I found myself trapped in a cycle of medications, stress, and frustration.
Those medications didn’t truly resolve my symptoms. In fact, they often made me feel dizzy, drowsy, and disconnected. I began questioning why everything depended on medications if they were not addressing the root cause.
About a year later, I made the difficult decision to stop taking them, even without having a clear plan. At that time, I had just started nursing school, and I needed mental clarity and focus.
Still, I continued to live with chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety, and depression.
What was my starting point?
One day, I simply got tired of feeling bad. Even though the word “bad” doesn’t fully capture what I was experiencing, it was the only way I could describe it at the time. I didn’t have clear answers, but I knew something had to change.
So I decided to make permanent lifestyle changes. That decision became a turning point in my life.
It wasn’t easy. I had to rebuild my health from the inside out and take responsibility for the habits that had contributed to my condition. But as I began to see results, I realized that the power to heal had been within me all along.
What was the outcome?
Today, I can say that I have restored my health. What was once labeled as a diagnosis became, for me, a deeper understanding of imbalance within the body and mind. Through my journey, I became more connected to a holistic lifestyle and to nature.
By integrating nutrition, mindfulness, spiritual practices, and intentional living, my life, and my career, completely transformed.
I became an Integrative Health Coach and Yoga Instructor to help others heal their body, mind, and spirit. Later, I pursued advanced nursing education to expand my ability to support patients and make a greater impact.
What is Integrative Health Line’s vision?
Integrative Health Line aims to help you understand the fine line between health and disease.
Health is not simply the absence of symptoms; it is a state of physical, mental, and social well-being. Disease represents a deviation from that balance.
Unfortunately, many people only start thinking about their health when symptoms appear. However, the absence of symptoms does not necessarily mean true health.
If healthy habits are not intentionally cultivated, imbalance can develop over time, often silently, until symptoms eventually appear.
The fact is that you don’t have to wait until you feel unwell to take control of your health. Instead, you can prevent diseases.
What is Integrative Health Line’s mission?
Integrative Health Line’s mission is to provide you with the tools and guidance needed to achieve lasting health and well-being.
Through this platform and my social media account, I share educational content to teach you and empower you. I also offer one-on-one coaching programs designed to support deep healing and transformation.

Who am I?
My name is Linette Gonzalez. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in the United States.
How did it all start?
I began my nursing career in 2020, the same year the COVID-19 pandemic started. Being on the front lines during such a critical time was challenging for every nurse, but it reinforced my commitment to serving others.
Since then, I have gained experience working with adult populations, where I have witnessed firsthand the suffering caused by chronic diseases and their impact on patients’ quality of life.
What was my personal experience?
My patients were not the only ones struggling, I was too.
In 2017, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia along with other associated conditions. When my symptoms first began, I didn’t even have health insurance to cover the tests needed to understand what was happening to me.
“Health is the effect of a healthy lifestyle and healthy habits; disease is the “tree” sprouted from unhealthy habits”.
